THE ENTIRELY MYSTERIOUS CAPPADOCIA

Full-day Cappadocia tour, including hotel pickup. Cappadocia is a volcanic region located between the cities of Kayseri, Nevşehir, and Niğde. We'll begin our tour with a visit to the Göreme Open-Air Museum, where we'll visit a regional handicraft workshop to see magnificent jewelry and turquoise objects. We'll visit Byzantine cave churches, featuring various wall paintings dating back to the Byzantine period. We'll continue to the famous Uçhisar Castle to see some of Cappadocia's most beautiful tourist attractions. We'll then explore the Palomares Valley, Avcılar Valley, or Caçadores Valley to admire the valley and the panorama of Göreme. We'll visit the famous valley of the Paşabağları Fairy Chimneys, the region's most characteristic feature. We'll also visit the underground city of Kaymaklı, built underground and serving as a defense. These anthill-shaped structures were originally places of defense and refuge against enemies. Everything from the early Christians to the Arab attacks is mentioned. The reason for the construction of underground cities. To finish the day, we will visit a weaving school where our famous Turkish carpets will be exhibited. Return to the hotel.
